Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is more than 800 meters long. Baiyun Montain is famous as a top choice of hiking resort. It consists of more than 30 peaks near the mountain, and at the peak of Moxing people can have an overlook of the whole Guangzhou. When it is in spring or at the moment just after a rain, there will be white cloud embracing the mountain round after round. That is also how it got its name. (Baiyun means white cloud in Chinese.) Yuexiu Park is one of the most famous attractions in the city and the largest park in downtown Guangzhou as well. It perfectly combines ecological landscape and cultural relics . The park is named for the hills of Yuexiu Mountain on which it is built. Top sights include the stone statue of the Five Rams, the emblem of Guangzhou City, as well as the Ming-era (1368-1644) Zhenhai Tower and the site of the Ming Dynasty City Wall.
